First Service Financial is an independent financial advisory company, established in 2001, known for offering trusted, clear, and professional financial advice across the UK. With a passion for their profession, they have provided exceptional service to individuals and businesses from all walks of life. Following a change in business ownership, First Service Financial recognised the need for a brand update and a marketing makeover to modernise its image and attract new business opportunities.
The Challenge
First Service Financial faced significant challenges with their existing brand and website. Their outdated logo was not scalable and failed to represent the company’s vision and future direction. This old logo needed a refresh to appeal to a wider audience and ensure consistency across all external communications. Additionally, their branding was inconsistent across different platforms, including presentations and stationery, which diluted their brand message and weakened their market presence. The existing website also presented problems: it was unresponsive, lacked a clear visual identity, and was unappealing to visitors. This hindered user experience, making it difficult for potential clients to navigate and engage with their services.
The Process
To tackle these challenges, we embarked on a comprehensive rebranding and website redesign. Our first step was to create a modern, scalable logo that would resonate with First Service Financial’s professional ethos and collaborative approach. Inspired by currency and coins, the new logo cleverly incorporated their initials “FSF” into a cohesive “coin” shape. The new design symbolises the collaborative approach that First Service Financial shares with their clients and partners, emphasising a sense of togetherness.
Next, we addressed the inconsistency in their branding by extending the new brand identity across all touchpoints. We developed cohesive business stationery, business cards, advertisements, billboards, and email footers, strategically using key shapes and colours to create a seamless and engaging visual presence.
The website redesign was a crucial part of this project. We completely rebuilt and refreshed the site, introducing a new layout that simplified navigation, consolidated information, and included clear call-to-actions. The new design is fully responsive, providing an optimal viewing experience across all devices, and effectively highlighting First Service Financial’s exceptional services.
